About the Item
A very stylish English Art Deco pink tinted mirrored dodecagon dial mantle clock made by ABEC and dating from around 1930. The heavily made quality clock stands mounted on a long rectangular stainless-steel base mounted with a clear angle cut plinth with a patterned copper foil back and supporting a clear flat angle cut panel with arrow shaped ends with a green patterned foil back and mounted on a stainless-steel frame which also supports the 12-sided clock. The clock has a copper-colored mirrored rim with simple linear 5-minute markers overlaid with a thick cut glass like panel with the inner centre slightly recessed with flat brass hands set against a satin copper color background. The clock has a manual wind system housed in a stainless-steel case and is marked ABEC and Made in England with a speed adjuster and a central time adjuster. The clock is also marked PATENT APP FOR along the edge of the base. This stylish and quality e clock appears to be in working condition and is a wonderful and decorative period example which will compliment any form of interior.

The clock presents well and has some natural age loss and wear around the extremities.
