About the Item

This unique and materially exquisite Art Deco Round Frosted Glass and Chrome Vanity Mirror by Lampeer Lamp Co. was created in the United States in 1928. A Identical one was owned by Joan Crawford, as shown in the last image. It features a round central pane of mirror circumscribed with chrome, beautifully polished and creating a harmony with the reflectivity of the mirror. A curved frosted glass panel sits behind the mirror, contrasting in reflectivity and providing a serene and elegant quality to this piece. The base consists of a round chrome support, providing excellent stability, allowing this mirror to articulate to work at a variety of angles and heights depending on the surface placement and height of the user. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly Rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
