Apollo chair by Svend Skipper for Skippers Mobler, and ottoman.

This ‘Apollo’ model easy chair is made of a black bent plywood frame and black leather upholstery. Produced by Skippers Furniture in Denmark during the 1970s, the piece looks similar to the Kroken chair designed by Ake Fribytter by Nelo. The chair is in good vintage condition, with some wear and tear commensurate with age and use.

The bucket style hammock seat is suspended from the beech frame and will adapt to the shape of each person sitting. You will feel almost enveloped by the chair.
This combined flexibility is also added by the flex in the laminated beech frame which gives the chair a slight bounce.
