About the Item

Three tiers of moldings make up the impressive crown of this otherwise fairly plain and simple armoire. The flat panels on the sides are real, rather than being indicated by molding set on a plain side. They follow the pattern of the doors, with one long rectangular panel above a short squarish one. The doors are flanked and separated by reeding and fluted, but otherwise plain, corbels. The base houses a long shallow hand-cut dovetailed drawer. There is a hat shelf and hanging pole inside.
