About the Item
French Provincial Art Deco era Chest of Drawers, circa 1930s. Features a mahogany frame with matchbook burled veneer. The rectangular frame has one large streamline cornucopia carved drawer over two larger lower drawers. The middle drawer showcases marquetry inlay with acanthus scrolled and tulip designs. The outer stiles are reeded with acanthus carved corbel accents over French cabriole legs. Legs flank a serpentine foliate carved apron. Drawer pulls are made of brass.
