About the Item
A fine Louis XVI style trumeau overmantle mirror in wood and gilded stucco. Its upper section features an oval-shaped reproduction of an original colour engraving of an 18th-century pastoral scene, enclosed within delicate pearl beading and topped with a festoon of ribbons and flower garlands. The mirror plate itself is bevelled and enclosed within a frame embellished with beadings of ribbon and pearl.
