ENGLISH GLAZED THREE-DRAWER CHEST

A lovely English chest of drawers with three full width graduated drawers hung with ovular stamped brass hardware raised over bracket feet with an inner curved profile. The chest has a chaotic glazed surface that was probably applied during the 20th century, the superb wear throughout and vivid autumnal color of the chest making it rather eye-catching. The drawers are all hand-dovetailed in the typical manner. The size is perfect – small enough that it doesn’t overwhelm a room while large enough for great practical storage. Absolutely gorgeous.
