Planting Instructions
Plant your Saucer Magnolia in spring or fall for best results. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Remove the tree from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place the tree in the hole at the same depth it was growing in the container, with the root flare slightly above soil level. Backfill with original soil, tamping down gently to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly and apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch, keeping it away from the trunk.
