About the Item

An original English vintage beech butchers block table made in the 1950s. The block consists of two parts which come apart if required. The top has been constructed with end grained blocks of beech and a side grain perimeter. The sides have 4 stainless steel inset corner brackets and a carrying handle. The base is pegged mortis and tenoned construction with stainless steel toe caps. The top is slightly dished and with plenty of witness marks, due to its previous life as an actual butchers block!
